Whats the typical order of walking down the aisle for a Jewish wedding?

My FH father wants his sister( FH aunt) and her 2 daughters (FH cousins) walking down the aisle, but they are not in the wedding.

Is this unusual, or do other family members walk down as well sometimes?

I really dont want them to...only because they are not in the wedding. I thought it was a little weird.

Am I making it too much of a big deal?

yes, I can see why you are uncomfortable with this....I had a similar situation.

Everyone handles these situations differently....depending on how much you mind them walking down the aisle.

If its any help at all, I can tell you what I did.....I said NO.

Instead, I had the people in question do a reading.

THe typical order for a Jewish Wedding is:

1- rabbi/cantor
2-Groomsmen/best men
3-Groom and Parents
4-Grandparents of the bride
5-Bridal party
6-MOH
7 FG
8-bride and her parents

Thank you! I am trying to put my foot down with this one. His family is from a different country...they like to do things a little differently

At the wedding i went to in Israel...only the bride & groom walked down the aisle, they came as a couple...the parents were already under the chuppah waiting w/ the rabbi... There was no bridal party..i don't think they do them there. HTH..i'm not Jewish but loved that wedding...so different than here!
