whats too much to spend on favors.. i have my heart set on something but it ends up being 3.50-4 per person. ....i dont think its too much.. maybe FIL will help with that or My parents

I don't think it's too much... I think I'm going to spend that - I mean my budget for favors is $600 and I will prob only have about 150 guests so it works out perfect for me.....

favors are HUGE for italians so my budget is $10 a favor which includes all the packaging and almonds and stuff - i know that sounds NUTS to some people but its really important to me!

see tilde... i undertsnad FH is from a huge italian family and thats super important but FILs arent really chipping in as far as i know.. and My family could totally go with out a favor at all. So... i think 3.50-4 isnt so bad.. ill have 150-175 guests

we dont have a budget.. not bcase we have unlimited funds but because we have 700 in the back and thats IT... so its not realistic to make a budget...JMO... but i've been told that whatever your total is for the RH... ou should double for your total budget.. if i do that.. im way under with that im estimating.. so i think ill go for it!!! my mom loves the idea.. as do i and FH... so im really excited im dying to order it all now!!

what favors are you going to give??? I was going to spend 3-4 dollars on favors but i too am from a big italian family and when i told my mom... the look of hate in her eyes told me the price had to be jacked uyp so now im thinking maybe 8 or 9

I meant that it isnt too much bc i am crazy and spending $10 - but that is per couple
i have my eye on a mini espresso maker ( a stove top one NOT a machine LOL) but we shall see!
anyways i think that would be fine - and it has meaning behind it so thats even better!!!!

It all depends on your budget and how many guests you figure you are having. Since we are paying for the wedding ourselves we are trying to save as much money as possible. We will probably either make cd's or ornaments.

thats ok.. but yes everyone will get a bottle and a glass...my parents gave the bottles at their wedding 30 years ago.. and FIL gave glasses at theirs 27 years ago!
