first off..I'm so sorry to hear that..i will keep her in my thoughts and prayers..and i think you should always be there for her when needed..maybe right now the one thing she needs is space..so i wouldn't harp on it too much. But be there for her..and definately try calling her periodically to see how she is..when shes ready i'm sure she will talk...good luck

I think you should just tell her before hand. 'listen...I want you to know that I don't want to treat you differently...or like you're sick...because I know you're capapble of getting through this...but I need you to know how much you mean to me and that I'm always here for you...and if there is ANYTHING I can do to make this easier on you...I'll do it'

im so sorry
i have been in this situation and it is tough
bringing over dinner, doing laundry and things like that are really appreciated

when someone close to me was ill, people wanted to come over or come to the hospital and i kept saying 'she's sleeping'
i know they still wanted to 'see' her; but other things are really helpful!!

I am so so sorry!!! I will keep you and your cousin/BM in my prayers. You are such a sweetheart for wanting to help her out in a time like this and I totally understand not wanting to go over there now and it seems like you only care because she is 'sick'...thats obviously not the case and I'm sure she'd appreciate you being there to keep her mind off of her worries right now. I would take every opportunity to spend time with her and help her..just do normal things to keep her mind off of being sick, don't baby her. Let her know that she got through it once and she can do it again!!!!
