I mean, you are going to LIFamilies...thats great...and since the whole LIW community knows about this site, maybe they will be there too. But, I do not see any need to make a ton of references to leaving, choosing one over the other, or posting public 'good bye' threads....
Seriously, not trying to start drama, but I ahve notivced this a TON in the past 2 days...

I honestly think i will stay on LIWeddings till i start having a family. LIF is good to read about Travel, Careers, but for right now I really don't have too much to contribute to Families, TTC, Pregnancy, etc. And there are way too many brides here that i love to help!

Yeah but i am like USUK04...i really can only manage one. It took me over a year and a few months to get a 1000 posts. I just don't have the time or job to do it right now. one site at a time for me!

I really dont see the diff btwn the two....yes the other site is suppose to be more 'family oriented' however its the same people that you talk to on a daily basis on LIW. Why not just add more boards instead of making a whole new site?? THey have a lot of the same threads, such as NWR or over there its NFR. Just because the words might change, doesnt mean its totally different. I just really dont see the point to it all.

its because we need to move up to the sister board because we are married and we are not planning a wedding anymore there more things on LIF for me and i figure i wanted to say goodbye because i was apart of liw i will be back and forth but i will spending most of my time on there.

I think I missed a bunch too perhaps
I seem to be gravitating more towards LIFs but that is mainly because its of more interest to me, I'm hoping to start a family soon and most of the girls and guys I chat with on a daily basis are posting there as well
I do lurk here and will post if the topic interests me, and I do like to check my FM here on LIWs in case any brides 2 be have questions, etc .. but overall I feel as though I dont' belong HERE as much because I'm pretty over the wedding topics and planning , overall..
I do NOT think that people need to CHOOSE one or the other OR that one is 'BETTER' than another.. they'll both be around for quite some time I'm sure

to maintain to fourms on different sites takes a lot of work. I find this hard and staying of LIF until i actually have a family (hopefully soon) but this site on the other half (not the wedding planning) stuff is the same thing. LIF just provides additonal info about LIFE stuff, not wedding stuff. If you see, must threads are exactly the same
