I got UV gel nails (french) about a week ago cause I wanna try out what I'm going to have for the big day. Well they are terrible within 2 days I had to go have them totally redone cause they cracked, lifted split etc and one just flaked right off completely. They are supposed to be better than acrylics for you but I don't know...
What kind of nails should I get. I like these but its not the worth the price IMO if its going to last just as long as a regular manicure.
What other options is there?

I used to have the Permanent French UV nails with the powder. I loved them...they never cracked or chipped. I got them really short so they looked natural. I recently got a gel manicure (gel painted over my nail) and it ruined my nails. It chipped after like two days and I still feel that I have glue on my nails that won't come off a month later! Go for the powder or silk wraps

I used to get my nails wrapped, but I know a lot of people who get 'forever french'.

Idk if you can tell in my profile pic but I have really really long nails and I get them silk wrapped. Since those are my real nails I was told that silk is the way to go.

i have the uv gel too- just got end of november and ive had no problems. maybe try another place- the person who does it will make or break it!!! (literally!) i really like them think theyre worth it. good luck!

Does anyone have any recommendations for Gel or LCN nail salons? My wedding is in 17 days now (ohh boy) and my nails are peeling, cracking, and super super short.
I cant find salons that do the LCN nails or know of any good places for the Gel, and what the price is.

where do you live? I know a place in smithtown...Sassy Nails...I believe its 90 for the first time set. Ive had nothing but great experiences with them. They do Gel... not sure what LCN is?
