What's worse, BAD TRAFFIC or a DIALUP Modem?

*screaming in frustration*

Yesterday, I was GOING to my wedding photographer to choose ideas for preggo pics (they owe me a photo shoot, I never used my engagemt one), and I ASKED THEM when is their most quiet time, least busy, etc. They told me Saturdays are MUCH LESS busy than Mon or Tues (MUCH to my surprise! ) and they are located in the congested, traffic-filled, high-stress area of Main St Flushing (their other offices are in Jersey and in Manhattan (the Village) so I was on my way yesterday, and everything was going great...then BOOM traffic, OH SO SLOW traffic... GUESS WHAT??
Little did I know it was Chinese New Year!!!
The busiest day of the year, in one of the most congested spots in the tri-state area! So after an hour in a 10 block radius, I turned back and headed elsewhere!

Now Im at my moms house, and since my brother is getting married in August, and since they moved into this home a year ago, he has never really invested much of his time and energy in 'setting up shop' here as far as his room, internet connection, etc etc. He's busy with work and wedding/home planning.
.....and here I am stuck with a dial-up modem! (and funny enough, John just got a new computer for me, delivered yesterday and he's telling me on the phone how great it is..LOL )

So between yesterday and today, I dont know whats worse, sitting in bad traffic or being online with a dialup modem... Lets see how long it takes for this reply to load...

I'll talk to you guys in 5 minutes as my page refreshes..
