For me it would have to be beautiful

I don't have a favorite one to say but I love writing the word August

I've always had a thing for 'fathom' - I just like using it! (Don't ask me why!.....I can't fathom why! Sorry, I couldn't resist. I get so silly when I'm tired!)

My sister's favorite word for a while, and it still may be is gastroenterologist. I think because it has so many syllables.

My favorite word is COLLOQUIUM

I think I am spelling it right.

The actual definition is 'An academic seminar on a broad field of study, usually led by a different lecturer at each meeting'

but in my college the term was used to describe the research project most seniors had to do no matter your major (unless you were a nursing major - they had enough stuff to do that year).

I love the word because I can pronounce it and my friend can't!!! She'd get stuck in the middle, get all frustrated and go 'oh...senior seminar project!' Hee

My favorite word would have to be syllogysm (apparently it's a math term, the only one I retained in high school! ) But a close second is superfluous.
