Re: what's your favorite restaurant???

you must try Maroni Cuisine in Northport.
It is an unbelievable food experience. Pricey, but well worth it. The tasting menu is outrageous.

oh i also want to add Kotobuki in Babylon.
And this is not really a restaurant per se, but I do love their burgers... All American in Massapequa.. mmm

I second Blue Water grill, esp during the holidays its decorated so pretty and it's so romantic. Me and DH also love the live jazz music.
Casa la Feme - Egyptian restaurant with gorgeous decor
Serafina's is always good too.

On LI:
Maroni's in Northport - amazing food!!
Trumpets on the Bay in Eastport.
Tellers in Islip $$ but awesome steak
The Pita House (Pachogue & Setauket) really yummy Turkish food

Yes its right by watawa, its a block away but on the other side of the street. You wont be disappointed, its spaniard and french fusion. The brunch there is awesome too. The atmosphere is nice inside, they also have outdoor seating but getting cold for that hahaha. Elias is awesome too.

Like you said, so many great choices in astoria and love your enthusiasm hahaha

oh ok, yeah the brazilian community in astoria is growing. I grew up in astoria, well I moved there when i was 10 years old. The neighborhood has definitely changed ALOT but no matter what i'll always consider astoria home. Now i am in the mood to go to astoria and eat hahaha. Have you ever tried Euro's, its kinda like this hidden secret lol. Its a spaniard restaurant, its small and makes you feel like youre eating at someones home. The owner is this real nice lady and her kids work there too, she even is the one who takes the orders and serves you, so its a small family run business. The food is awesome though. Dh's family always goes and they like that its this small cozy atmosphere. Its right on the corner of 45th street and ditmars
