My Aunt is sort of my Foster Mother of the Bride. We're beginning to search for a gown for her to wear to my wedding. Does anyone have pictures of their mother's gowns that they can show me? We're trying to look at styles.
She tried this on about a month ago when we went to look at bridesmaids gowns and loved it. Totally not her to wear strapless or black (that's the color she wants it in) but I think she'll wind up with it.

Thats a beautiful dress. My BMs were close to getting that one.

I love it too. She freaked when she heard it was a bridesmaid dress, thinks it's too young but I think it's ageless. I really hope she gets it - she did the formal suit thing for 2 of my brothers' weddings and my sister and I really want her to do a gown since she's MOB and it's the last wedding.

My Aunt is in her 60s but she is a very young 60s. She is slightly plus sized and would rather having something to cover her arms a bit -- short sleeve, full gown. But we don't want it to be frumpy and all the 'mother of the bride' dresses look frumpy.

Someone posted this picture from their own wedding -- I love this dress (maybe in a different color). But I don't know who makes it/where to get it -- I FMed the girl hoping she'll get back to me...
I don't have that great of a picture of it, i don't know who makes it ( the store takes the tags out) so I jsut have the pic I tookof it hanging up.
It's got spaghetti straps & a short, long sleeved jacket.
My aunt bought a short sleeves, dark blue ankle length gown at Totally You. I also don't know who makes it ( haven't seen it) but every one tells me it is really nice. It has a little bit of beading on the top, just to the bustline.
