What's your wedding song?

My FI and I have a song that is special to us (actually a couple), but we didn't want to use any of those--we want a new song for a new time in our life....so with that in mind it leads me to ask: What's everyone's song?

we are most likely using the song 'heaven' by brian adams. that is the first song that we ever danced to. there are other songs but i think thats the final one.

Our song is 'Heaven (Candlelight Mix)' by DJ Sammy.

We were thinking this too..

here are the three we like:

Kiss of life--sade
Take my breath away--top gun
or
Angel--lionel richie( it really has special meaning, after 3 months of dating, he told me that everytime he heard that song all he could think about was me, and he bought me the cd, I just think it's sweet, but not sure if it's too fast)

I LOVE:
I could not ask for more--sarah evans but he doesn't like it, he said it's too mushy.. blah blah blah

Our's was 'It Might be You' by Steven Bishop. You may know it better as the theme from the movie Tootsie. It's a very sweet & special song and I've never known anyone else who had that as their song.

It's not a mushy love song but we are both older and the lyrics really have meaning for the two of us.

We just had this talk last night.

I definitely want 'Power of Love' by Celine Dion but I also want him to pick our spotlight song and he is clueless 'Whatever you want Stacy'. NOOOO!!! So we are currently working on getting a spotlight song and a Mother Son song together.

what is the difference between your 'Wedding song' and your 'spotlight song'?

we are dancing our first dance (not sure if it's wedding or spotlight ) to 'you're my home' by billy joel.

Ours was 'Love Will Keep Us Alive' by Eagles. We chose it for the words/lyrics as that is what's special to us.

1st dance - When I Fall In Love - Celine Dion
Spotlight Dance - Endless Love

Spotlight Dance is a dance where the bride and groom dance the whole song by themselves. It can either be done after your 1st dance or after cake cutting.
