We're ordering our invites in November so FH's sister can do the caligraphy on the envelopes while she's home on winter break.

I know what invitations I want already...but I guess I'll wait until late Dec/Jan to order them becuase I also want to send them out to a calligrapher....as for favors...I also know what I want for favors but I won't know how many people are coming until everyone responds, but I don't want to wait last minute...I guess I can order the favors the same time as the invites. I just don't want to spend more than I have to on favors....but I guess that's a chance I have to take so I don't risk ordering them late and not receiving them on time.

my wedding is march so maybe ill order the invitations around sept/oct not sure the favors im going to buy whenever i see a good sale

I would give yourself 6 months to start looking and have them ordered by 3-4 months prior. You DEFINITELY need a fax proof of everything and need time to address and stuff them after they come in. They need to be in the mail aproximately 2 months b/4 and the RSVP is 1 month prior to your affair.

the woman who did my std's told me to come in before january for my invitations because january is the busiest month... im probably going to go in nove/dec even though its early. i wont have to deal with the crowds...

i have in my possesion our favors already, I just found a really good sale and couldn't pass it up. Although it is hard to buy them, when you have no idea how many people will be coming...lol
