I have about 106 guests, do you think it will take very long?

I had 180 and it took me about 4 hours over 2 days ( i got annoyed and put the list down).

My advice, don't go involving more people then need to be involved in this process. My MIL called me the Monday before the wedding to say 'Let's make some time this week to go over the seating arrangements', my comment.....DONE!!!

Can't have too many hands in the cookie jar.

No more than 2 hours total.

MIL did her side really quickly; DH did his guests. Mom did some of her family and I took care of the rest.

Then DH and I assigned each group to a table # and that was it.

Well it didn't take all that long. I took the floor plan and give my mother a copy with 'her tables' highlighted and I did the same for my MIL's tables.

That left about 45 people, which didn't take all that long.

I got mine done halfway through the Sopranos, so it took me about 30 mins tops.

But then again, our list was relatively easy to figure out where to sit them!!!

Now making changes to the seating chart, that's another ballgame in itself!!! That took about 2 hours!!!
