When and where did you introduce your parents to your FI parents??

My mom actually met his parents under unfortunate circumstances..My FI and I had been in a car accident and they all met each other in the waiting room of Winthrop Hospital.

Well FH's sister was my best friend in MS and HS, so my mom would always chat with his mom when she would come pick me up

They met FFIL at lacrosse games, cause me and my friend were on the same team in HS (and both sets of parents would come watch)

I cant remember exactly, but I am sure it was some event at my university, I do know that my mom sent a lovely thank you gift to them before she knew them, i was REALLY sick and fhs mom and dad let me stay there and they took such good care of me...

We planned a dinner shortly after we got engaged. About a month or so after.

They all met at our college graduation in '02!

We all went to Mama Lombardi's for dinner after we got engaged. And MY dad PAID..My dad is getting stuck paying for everything!

they didnt meet until about a year after we got engaged, certain circumstances kept them from meeting sooner. FH and I took them out to dinner for their first meeting. it went very well.

UMM HMMM MY MOM MET HIS PARENTS AT HIS 30TH SUPRISE PARTY 4 MONTHS INTO RELATIONSHIP MY DAD SHORTLY AFTER HE WAS OUT OF TOWN. ANYWAY THEY HAVE BEEN TOGETHER EVER SINCE, HOLIDAYS, DINNER, BIRTHDAYS ECT. THEY ARE DORKS LOL THEY ARE GREAT FREINDS.ITS SO GREAT FOR FI AND I THOUGH.

FH's parents met my mother at my father's funeral this past July. Ed and I had just gotten serious when my father was hospitalized last October. Dad never came home and subsequently passed away in July. We had already been engaged, but there was never a good time for my mother to be socializing when she was at the hospital everyday for 9 months - in the midst of it all, having her own open heart procedure. FH's parents did the right thing by me, my family and FH by coming to Dad's funeral. It wasn't until last week when the two families met up again under better circumstances as we broke the fast of Yom Kippur at our new home.

My parents wanted to take them to dinner once we got engaged. The six of us went to our favorite restaurant for dinner two weeks after we got engaged

ETA: I'm dumb. I read this wrong and thought this said when my FI met my parents. My parents met his dad and step mom at Belmont Park for Father's Day a few years ago. Since FMIL lives in Florida, she has never met my dad and only met my Mom last summer.

My Fh parents invited mine over for dinner after 2.5 years of dating. They all hit it off. My parents invited them the following Xmas Eve.

They all met at our graduation from law school this May... as if we weren't already stressed out enough :) but it was great actually - everyone got along and we had a fun time.

Our parents met at a restaurant 4 months into our relationship also. We set up a dinner around the holidays. THey seem to be cut from the same mold!

We were engaged for two yrs before his family found out. They were pretty mad at us for not telling them right away, so we though an E-party two months later in june. Our parents met there. It went shockingly well. They aren't very close, but at least they didn't kill each other.
