I'd like to have mine about 2 weeks-1 month before the wedding.. I'm going to plan a weekend on a cruise since FH plans on doin a weekend in montreal (last i heard.. who knows by the time it gets here!)
That is exactly what i want to do.. I already started telling my bridesmaids

Found a carnival one for july 08 (just to get avg pricing) thurs-mon cruise leaving from FL and goin to bahamas from around 300 a person, but then you have to add in airfare so... I wish something decent and short would leave from NY/NJ

I have no idea I'm not in charge of this one...I just hope its not the night before!
FH has informed me that he wants his for 7 days in vegas and he will come back the night before the wedding yeahhhhhhhhhh rightttttttttttt!

I'm planning on having mine 1-2 weeks before the wedding, as is FH for his bachelor party. and my mom is planning my bridal shower around 6 months before the wedding date

I def. dont want a combined one because I want male strippers for sure lol and I of course know his friends will be getting him strippers too , which is fine with me, thats what most Bacehlor parties are about anyway.

me too..I feel if we do a joint thing we'll be together most of the time anyway....so the seperate ones are a better way for us to spend time with just our friends

I am not having it the night before...that would be dangerous and not smart. I was thinking like 2 weeks before. I dont think we are doing the jack and jill....I want to be out with my girls and I know he wants to be out with the guys...maybe we can plan on the same night and meet up after the festivities.

It all depends on the final date of when we are having our wedding, if we change it to a non summer month, i want my party in the summer, if my wedding stays in the summer than i want it a few weeks b4, but deff not the night b4
