When are u having your rehearsal dinner??

I always though it was the night before but now I'm hearing people do it like 2 days before the wedding. I'm not sure what to do b/c I have out of town people in my BP and I'm not sure what day they will be flying in b/c one is in the army so I have no idea if they can get that day off or what. Also the kids have school. Would it be horrible if they couldn't make it to the rehearsal dinner? Anyone doing a rehearsal lunch??

Mine actually I think is going to be the week before the wedding, because (if I remember correctly) my church only does rehearsals on Saturdays. I have one BM from California, so if she can't make it, I'll just have to do it without her. She's a smart girl, I'm sure she'll figure out what she needs to do

We are doing it it two days before, we are making it a NYE dinner party thing. Were not doing a rehearsal at the hall, just having a dinner at our house for family and BP and then after having a party with family and friends

I am doing it the day before.

We're doing ours the night before. Half the BP is OOT so I don't expect them to come in much earlier than the day before.

We are going to ours two days before, I don't think my RH does rehearsal on fridays they only do them monday-thursday. I rather it that way because the day before the wedding I just want to be able to relax!!

i am also doing mine the night before bc I have a lot of OOT ppl in the BP.

i am probably doing mine thursday night (i'm having a sat morning ceremony)

My wedding is Friday.. the church said our rehersal is on Wed.

mine is thursday and the wedding is sat...i have always been to ones that were two days before.

we are having a similar issue. our best man and my brother and his wife are all out of town, so we need to have it the night before. but i dont want to have all the other OOT guests at the rehearsal dinner. i feel like it is just a celebration to thank your parents, grandparents and bridal party and feel the OOT would feel akward there.

we're doing ours the night before- friday night. feel kinda bad bc half the bridal party is OOT and will probably hit traffic on the island, especially around dinner time, but what are you gonna do??

Ours will be the night before. I'd like to have it earlier, but FH's whole family is coming from out of town, and his brother/best man is in the army, and we're not even sure if he will make it for the night before even.
