I know traditionally yo're supposed to make your entrance into the RH with your train down & dance your first dance holding the train up off the floor- anyone not doing this? I just dont think I'll be comfortable dragging the 8lb train around the dance floor!! Plus- it's cathedral length on all the dresses I like so it will definately get in the way-- and I dont want to leave the party to have my dress buslted either!!! I am all about the 20 point bustle-- lol- so the dress will still be pretty from behind!!! What do you think-- can I bustle it before our entrance??

Re: When are you bustling?
my sister in law had her dress down on her entrance (cathedral) and man was that a disaster! Back then they had clip on and off trains that were looped into the dresses. Well anyway usually you get your announcement and go straight into your first dance. We had to sit there for 8 minutes while they struggled with her dress.
I would say if i have a bustle i would do it before this way its much smoother for the transition for the first dance.

Re: When are you bustling?
I am bustling right after my pictures. I am most likely only getting a sweep train so it won't be a huge difference.

I am gonna bustle my dress before i enter the reception...its too long to dance with, it will be hard for him to turn me...most people i see already have it bustled during first dance

Re: When are you bustling?
I was wondering the same thing. I would love to bustle after the first dance, but I feel like:
1) The train might get in the way during the first dance
2) I don't know how long it will take (I doubt too long), but I don't want to have to leave the room right in the beginning
But, I would love to make our grand entrance with my train. I'm torn as well.

Re: When are you bustling?
That puppy is being bustled right after the ceremony. My luck, I'll trip on it and land flat on my face.
