Originally i had wanted to send over my wedding gift to FH the night before the wedding (i was going to have his brother bring it over with an 'I LOVE YOU' balloon attached to it)
But he just asked me if we could exchange gifts on Thursday....I am thinking that might be nice since then we can open them together, and i can see his reaction. The gift i am giving him is better for him to look at in private (or with me there is fine), since it's a huge album and I know on Fri. night and Sat. morning his family and friends will all be there with him....he might not be able to really look at the whole book then.
What do you think?

we did ours the day before the wedding---for that exact reason you just described. to see each other's reactions -- i gave him a movado watch and he bought me a white gold bracelet.....and we wore both on the wedding.

i will probably give it to his BM at the rehearsal dinner and tell him to give it to him the morning of the wedding.

i suprised him with a cake on RD night
and then got him a cigar roller at the wedding
i didnt get anything and i didnt want anything from hom
he paid for our part of the wedding by working 7 days a week and that was enough gift for me
im the one that always gets him gifts and suprises..thats what i do

We did this as well. He bought me the day of jewelry I wore on the day (I picked it out!) I bought him a Tag watch he also wore!

I'm having his brother give him the gift the day of the wedding. I want him to get it and think of me since we havent' seen eachother. I think it will be nice for him to read the card and get excited to see me

I'm going to give FH's gift to his dad to give him on the morning of the wedding with a card from me. I'm getting him a watch, so he can wear it for the wedding!

We are going to do something really small - but the real exchange is with the vows.
Sounds corny, but i coudnt imagine a gift on that day - im getting him as my husband!
