When are you going to register?

We arent getting married till July of next year and Im wondering when we should register

We will be registering at Macy's, Fortunoff, and Crate and Barrel.

FH and I were at Crate and Barrel yesterday and I walked right up to these very pretty everyday plates. It made me want to actually cook for him!!!

we are going to register this week since we both have the week off... we are going to go to Macys... if they dont have everything we like, we can always choose another place after that.....

We're getting married next July too. We registered at Bed Bath and Beyond and Fortunoff. I wasn't planning on doing it till much later, but so many people kept asking where we were registered, so we just went ahead and did it.

I'm getting married July 2, 2006, and we registered two months after getting engaged. My mom and FMIL's friends kept asking where we were registered because they wanted to get us engagement gifts, so we just did it. We registered at Bloomingdales, Crate and Barrel and Fortunoff's. We registered for everything except bedding and towels since those are seasonal - we'll register for those six to five months before our wedding date.

We're getting married in June of 06, so I wanted to wait to register. Since we are haveing an eparty this May, fam and friends suggested we register. W/ that said, we are only registering for basic houseware items - ie knives, small appliances, pots, etc.

I work for Bed Bath and Beyond, and I know the bedding and other home textile stuff gets disc'd so fast since it is usually seasonally and trend driven. We will prob update the registry next year and add those itmes once we get closer to the shower/wedding date.

Looking to register at Bed Bath, Fortnoff and either Target or Crate and Barrel.

I think you can register whenever. My roommate isn't getting married until 2007 (like me!), but she's registered already!

I'm holding off until a little closer to the actual wedding. I don't even have a reception hall yet! There are some other things I need to take care of first before I register!

We registered last weekend at Crate and Barrel. We will register at Fortunoff next month. I don't think there is a such thing as too early - just keep a eye on seasonal items that may become unavailable.

We will be registering one of these upcoming weekends! I want to have to done by the 1 year mark....Lately we have been house hunting & I wanted to wait til I knew what was going on with the house prior to registering

X-mas of this year we will register. I am just worried about having things discontinued. Since we don't have a place yet, we don't know what we need either. Fortuneoff, Macy's, Crate & Barrel (FH loves that store), Bed Bath & Beyond.

We're getting married April 2006 and actually finished registering yesterday.
Family and friends have been asking us when we were going to do it...so we figured, let's just do it. I don't know if it's soon, but i was so excited! We registered at Fortunoff and Bed Bath and Beyond. We had soooo much fun!!!!!!

Word of advice....don't let your fiance have control over the gun!!! LOL...He drove me nuts! I couldn't turn my back for a second. He just kept zapping things! He was cute though. He really got into it!

we registered right away at fortunoff's - and it's funny that you mention this because i have a TON of gifts from our party at my feet right now...trying to shove them under my desk in my room.

the only thing i heard is not to register for things that could disappear by next year.

DUH I am not that bright! I thought you wrote WHERE.

When? Im guessing sometime this summer after we move in together.

We are thinking about having an E Party this summer and will register a month or so before that........if we don't have one then probably closer to the wedding.

We registered a few weeks ago because we are having an engagement party in April...

I would love to register now. People keep asking me if I am registered yet too. But I feel that it is still too soon. I am not getting married until June next year. Things may be discontinued if I register now that's what I keep thinking.

Well you don't register for the Bed and Bath stuff yet...all the places said that stuff is seasonale and its best to do that 3-4 monts prior to the wedding.

Most things like fine and casual china will probably not be discontined!
