I'm getting pressure to have one though 1) I really don't have time and 2) I don't care too much about it. The only time I could see having it would be Thursday before the wedding (Saturday) but I don't necessarily want to be hungover or anything the day of my RD.
The other good thing about Thursday is all of my OOT college friends will be here. I'm not sure how many people would be around the weekend before the wedding. Also, I feel like I'll still be finishing up all my little projects at that time. What do you all think?

I'm having mine next Saturday. If I were in your position I don't know if I'd want to have it that close to the wedding, but as long as you keep it low key it could be fun to do something for a few hours to try and forget about all the wedding stress.

mine is the sat before our wedding. Personally, i would not want mine 2 days before the wedding. Much too close. Why dont you have a get together with your girls the weekend before, and then you can go out with some of your oot guests for a COUPLE of drinks on Thurs. Good luck!

9/17. Orginally we were gong to go to Vegas, but then I felt guilty about spending that much money, so we'll do something local. I am fairly certain that it will be boring. Sorry to be pessimistic, but I just don't think it will be that fun!!
FI is going to New Orleans the same weekend for his.

I haven't really thought about it, but I think it depends on when my overseas friend are arriving. If they're not in town until a few days before, I will just have one with my friends from NY.
Instead of a wild bachelorette party, why don't you go for mani/pedis, wine, cheese and a chick flick on the Thursday.

Part of my concern about going out on Thursday (I probably wouldn't get toooo crazy that night) is being all bloated from alcohol. I've been doing Phase 1 of South Beach and planned to keep it going until probably the wedding or RD so I'm not drinking at all. I guess I could stick to wine but would that make me puffy as well?

3 of my BMs were from OOT and I couldnt ask them to come down just for the BP (too expensive to keep traveling) so my sister took me for a massage and pedicure 7 weeks before the wedding. Thats what I wanted - wasnt into the whole drinking thing.

Spetemebr is so busy for my friends and my sister and me.....so we are doing it in August. Nothing extreme. A day out east and dinner, then maybe danicing. I LOVE to dance.
How about just dinner/drinks with your girlfriends Jennie? Nothing crazy. Good Luck.
