Your Honeymoon, the next day ?? I am having a saturday afternoon wedding thinking about leaving the next morning but people are saying maybe we should leave monday because we will be tired.

We are having a Friday night wedding and we are leaving on Sunday morning.

We;re getting married on afriday and are leaving on the sunday just so we have a day to get our things together and get our daughter settled at my moms

We are leaving a week later. Several days after the wedding we will be with OOT and the flight we are on only goes on certain days.

As of now, I think we are leaving for our honeymoon on Monday. We are getting married on Friday and I think a couple of days to recouperate is needed!

Our wedding is on a friday and we are leaving on sunday. i dont want us to start our honeymoon out tired LOL.... we are just going to take saturday to relax and have brunch with our close family.

we had a day in between....its was so great to have the day together & just relax & be excited no rush, no being exhausted or moody...it was great

We are planning on leaving on the Sunday, why waste a day recovering only to get tired again travelling, travel tired, rest that night and then enjoy the HM.

Our wedding is on Sat. night. Sunday we will have family over. Mon and Tues are packing days. I need time to pack because i am moving to Cali!So we are leaving thurs morning.

my wedding was saturday and we left on monday

if i could do it over again i would have left on tuesday

i really didnt get to sleep on saturday night and then sunday was spent talking to all my relatives and the OOTers before they left so i didnt rest AT ALL

the entire day on Monday was WASTED, we got to st lucia at 5PM ate whatever we could find and we were ASLEEP by 8PM - that is the ONLY thing i would change about my HM!

We are leaving a week later too - mainly because FH wants to be away for his bday. But I also do not think we'll be able to pack before the wedding, and we have a dog so this will allow us to take her out of the kennel (she'll be there from fri - sun of our wedding wknd) and then she won't be there for almost 2 wks straight ..

our wedding is on Fri night and we are leaving for HM on Mon. we do get a days rest in btwn and xtra time to pack....i always make a list when i pack and if i leave the nxt day i will feel rushed. i go ovr my lists like 20X im ridiculous sometimes

i guess we are the minority here...

we are getting married Sun (afternoon) and leaving Mon AM. We were limited in dates (I have 2.5 weeks off at the end of the summer) so this leaves me one week off before the wedding, one week (Mon-Mon) for honeymoon, and then I start my last year of law school on Wed. Tues will be unpacking, buying books and doing my hw for the first day....

i would love to have a few days before we leave but it would cut into our honeymoon. FH only gets a certain # of days off each year so we couldnt have taken a much longer honeymoon anyway

Wedding was Friday evening (we didn't get to sleep until 5am!!!) and we left on Sunday morning for a FULL DAY of travel to the HM (went to Tahiti).

And to be honest, I wished we had left on Monday instead of Sunday!!!

We woke up super late the day after our wedding and then went to see family (OOT) and had to make it to the bank (didn't want to leave checks hanging or cash laying around), then finish packing etc. Everything took so much longer than we thought it would.
