Are they supposed to go out after your wedding invitations? How far in advance? I put an RSVP date of Oct. 1st on them but wasn't sure when I should send. My wedding invites are going out sometime next week... TIA

Yeah us too, maybe a little earlier just so people have notice if they want to leave work a little early or anything.

I sent mine last week, about a week after the wedding invites but only because we have 5 people that need to be there who live out of state and need to make arrangements. I would send them out about a month or so earlier than the RSVP date unless you have OOTers.

I sent an e-vite as the save the date to give me time to find a restaurant but I will be mailing the invitations in September, a few weeks before

i wont be sending out RD invites! i simply asked my FMIL that i would really appreciate it we could do a simple invite printed on the computer and i got...

ughhh its not even about remembering about the RD but knowing where to go!! not everyone knows where the church is!!!! im at the point where i hope everyone gets lost, and doesnt show up on time!! sorry just had to vent!
but i would say a month before is good!

Thanks ladies for your input. It gives me an idea of what I should do. I am going to send them out Sept. 1st since my RSVP for it is October 1st. I know my entire bridal party is coming but just not sure about hubbies and wives so that's pretty much why I did the invite and the RSVP. It does also keep everyone on the same page - no confusion and no constant questions to you and hubby.

I will be sending them out probably the first week in August. I didn't put an RSVP date, i just write to RSVP by either calling, texting or emailing me.
I just figured there are a lot of dates to remember, when to pick up their BM dresses, when to go get measured for tuxes, when to pick up tuxes when to RSVP for the invite etc. I figure if i dont hear from someone i'll just call them up, seeing as they are all our close friends.
