my wedding is on a friday but my work is closed that day for veteran's day. I am taking off wednesday and thursday before the wedding and then after the wedding for the HM.
Mine is the day before yours :) I'm only taking Wednesday and Friday though...

I'm a teacher getting married in May. I'm taking off the Friday before and Monday after my Saturday night wedding.... We go on our honeymoon in July.
I just need time to rest before and after!!!

I'm off for the summer so I'll be off the week before. I am going to work when it starts again tho taking a honeymoon in December when I graduate. Itsbthevweek before our Christmas break so I'm taking the week before that starts!

My wedding is Friday, Oct. 14!
So I decided to off ONE whole week prior to the wedding in addition two weeks after the wedding as well......
I have been saving my time like crazy plus it helps that I have been with the company for eight years.

weddings on a friday
i'm working half a day on that wednesday, and taking off the rest of that week, and the following week.
Going back to work that following monday (if i'm not moving at that point)

No, not kidding ... I'm in the car business, and month end is the busiest time for me. There's not many people who can cover my shift. The last thing I want is to get a million phone calls while I'm trying to get ready for the wedding, or after, for that matter.

My wedding is a saturday.. I'm leaving early on wednesday (prob 3) and then taking off thursday and friday.. Thursday is the RD.. Leaving for HM monday morning and not returning to work till 2 weeks later.. So a total of 11 vacation days (since one day is memorial day and I already get off)

i almost did the same thing lol but now that my week is here i am wishing i took more time off before...you should give yourself at the least the day before off

My Wedding is on Sunday Sept 4th. I will be taking Thursday and Friday off and since it is a holiday weekend I am off on Monday : ) We will be leaving for our honeymoon on Tuesday.
