i have decided that i don't want to walk around wearing a veil for 12 hours. it brings back too many bad memories from dancing school days of stupid annoying head pieces.
for those of you taking your veil off, when are you taking it off??
i was thinking about right before we enter the reception room, so that who ever did not make the Church can see me all dressed during the cocktail hour.

I haven't decided yet whether or not I'm taking it off. If I do, it will be after our first dance.

It's coming off right after the ceremony. I will have my church pics with the veil and then that's it.

i am taken the veil off right before we get introduced for reception cause i am changing to bird cage veil. :)

I think it will depend on how uncomfortable it is...would like to keep it until after the first dance however. I'm having a cathedral veil, which acually gets bustled also, so I gotta see how heavy it is!

as of now i plan on wearing it all night if it bothers me though ill take it off after the 1st dance then put it back for cake cutting and all that

mine is not cathedral, so i will be wearing it all night unless it really bothers me!
I just really want pics with the veil on cause it took me awhile to pick the exact one i wanted! lol
I would take it off after the first dance if i knew i really didnt want to wear it all night

I thought that I might possibly take it off after the Ceremony & the Cocktail Hour. I really didn't plan on wearing it all night either!

I am planning on a cathedral veil and a blusher for the church & pictures. If the cathedral is not too cumbersome (which I am sure it will be) I will take it off after our first dance. If it is annoying I will take it off for the cocktail hr & reception. I plan on wearing the blusher all night.
