i have decided that i don't want to walk around wearing a veil for 12 hours. it brings back too many bad memories from dancing school days of stupid annoying head pieces.
for those of you taking your veil off, when are you taking it off??
i was thinking about right before we enter the reception room, so that who ever did not make the Church can see me all dressed during the cocktail hour.

I am taking it off after the ceremony and after I take my pictures. FH and I are doing a mixed first dance, and a veil would just be a pain in the butt!

After the ceremony. I didn't want to wear one at all, but FH was really insistent.

after our first dance i think...at least that is what i am planning on doing now who knows the day of haha if it starts to annoy me then off with it after the i do's

i wanted to take it off right after the church but i think i might keep it on until after the first dance and thats it... because i know its going to bother me and i dont want to walk around and dance with a veil all night

I want to take it off after first dance but my mom thinks I should wear it the whole time since it was crazy If it isn't bothering me, I'll prob leave it in as long as possible--if it's annoying, it will be off after the first dance.

I totally agree...especially since I am paying a pretty penny for the veil. I think it might stay on all night long!!!

I am taking mine off the SECOND the ceremony is over. I hate the idea of waering one and I'm only doing it so my mother doesn't have a nervous breakdown for some reason it's super important to her that I wear a veil...

i think im taking it off after the ceremony and after all church pics are taken. im having a cathedral length veil... so theres no shot that im wlking around with it on afterwards, lol.
