When did it feel 'real'?

Original post by LongDistanceFiance

Only 9 days left!

My mom called yesterday and said the FG is being treated for pneumonia, but the little trooper sounded like she was well on the road to recovery on the phone tonight....screaming about how much she's been 'practicing her petal tossing' in between coughs. So cute!

Now that all the little bits and pieces are coming together it finally feels like this wedding is really going to happen - but it still feels somewhat surreal. How long before the wedding did all of you hit that moment of 'wow, I'm actually getting married soon'?

Hmm I dont know when it hit me; probably when I walked down the aisle and sall all those people and got so nervous I almost puked
Up until then I was pretty darn calm.

It did not feel real until I got to the church, which was good because when I was getting ready, I was so relaxed. Then I got to the church and was nervous for only a few minutes.

I hope your FG gets well soon!!!!

I woke up the crack of dawn on my wedding day and said, 'It's my wedding day!!' and after my hair was all done and I was leaving the salon, all I kept saying was 'Im a Bride Today!!!'

Hmmm not really until my photographer got to my mom's house and started taking pics - but I guess it really hit me like a ton of bricks when we all got into the limo! I'll never forget how fast my heart was beating!
