It hit me about 2 weeks ago, I was stressing soo bad about getting the little stuff done. I made a list and realized I don't have that much to do. NErvous breakdown ended, still not sleeping well though...

I have to agree about the spurts. Anytime we do the main things (hall, photographer, dress fitting, BMs dresses, etc), it hits... but it doesn't FULLY hit.
As time goes along, I don't expect it to hit any harder than when the actual day comes. It probably will be more spurts... lol.

It took me a good month before the 'wanna see my ring' feeling wore off. I still like to show it off, but now the reality on marrying the man of my dreams has set in.

I also think it hits me in spurts, mostly when we do something wedding related...but the first time it hit me that we were really getting married was the first time his friend introduced me to his new girlfriend as Chris' fiance, instead of his girlfriend...it was weird, but nice!

It hit me when I went for my first fitting--when I had on the dress, tiara and veil. My mom told me i looked like a deer in headlights.

Yea, it really hasnt hit me yet either. every once in a while I will be like 'wow'
For instance, last night we got the first proofs for our invitations and I said 'this is for real' and Brad was like, 'yes, that could be why all you talk about is weddings and there is a dress hanging in your closet' Men dont get it... I think it hit Brad back in December when we were looking at reception sites

It started feeling more real after we passed our 4 month mark, but the biggest 'we're getting married' feeling came when we mailed the invites!! I was sooo excited!!

OHHH Believe me it hit me last night!!!!! I couldn't sleep all night just thinking about how close the wedding is and how much I have to do. I woke up and threw up that's how hard it hit me....

I started to cry when I had on my first gown...no not cause the whole marriage thing, cause of the extra luggage on my triceps. Second gown, I cried because I looked like a tomato from being out in the sun. So, no it has not hit me yet. FH and I have lived together for a year and a half so I don't think marriage will be any different.

honestly, only recently...partially b/c we feel married, you know, but also, because the invitations went out, people started replying and we met with our officiants and did a dry run...they made it REAL...holy cow, he's gonna be my husband!

When I looked in the mirror after putting on my wedding gown. As I was trying to fix my crooked tiara, I realized....I'M GETTING MARRIED IN AN HOUR!!!
I started to inhale and exhale. Then, in the reflection, I saw the videographer filming me. I busted out laughing. So did he! It's on film!

Today...tomorrow makes 12 weeks and it seriously just hit me that I am really getting married and I still have a lot to get done and not enough time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Funny you asked this because I think it hit me tonight. We were sitting in the church rectory talking with the deacon who is marrying us, and I actually felt like it was real. I guess it confirmed that feeling of why we wanted to switch our ceremony to a church!
