It comes in spurts for me. This morning FI was actually home from work and I was doing my make-up and all of I sudden I scream to him... Woo Hoo We are getting married! But right now, its like I am talking about someone else. Weird...

Yeah it didn't really hit me yet, & I only have 3 1/2 months left. I am think either at one fo my fittings, when we get the marriage license or the day of!

Nope, with 4 months left it still hasn't hit me. I guess it will once I move all my stuff out of my parents house and actually help move FH into the apartment.
I keep wondering when it's going to hit me! Like I need someone to slap me and say...'YO! You're getting married'

It hit me on Saturday when I had my shower. Then on Monday when my invitations were mailed out and especially yesterday when I received my first response.

It comes in spurts for me too. Sometimes I am all excited like 'I AM A BRIDE' and stuff like that. Sometimes I forget (usually when I am drooling over something in a store that I want and I am like 'oops - cant just buy anything you want!'
Sometimes we look at each other and say how happy we are to marry each other.
It felt halfway real when I tried on wedding gowns. I am sure the big thing for us will be when we send out invitations.
By the way, I just changed my screensaver to say 'BRIDE TO BE!'

It hits me in spurts as well. All I know is that whenever I (we) are actually doing something wedding related it feels real. When we go to our hall, see the priest, see my gown, all these things make it SO real. I totally love the feeling!! It is like euphoria I haven't experienced before (well almost ). Right here, right now, however, sitting in my boring office all alone; I am just not feeling it too much!!!

I don't think it hit me until I started walking down the aisle that day -seriously. Even that morning getting ready and taking pictures _ i felt like a BM or something....but when I walked down the ailse and saw DH's emotional reaction - it hit me!!

It first REALLY hit me when we mailed out the invites and started getting replies back .. it was like 'Ok, we really ARE doing this!'
Then it hit me again STRONG when we went to get our marriage license the other day.... THAT made so real
The only other way I can tell you that its truly 'hit me' that I'm getting married in one month is that I have totally lost my appetite.. yep, it really does happen when you get this close -- I just DO NOT WANT TO EAT!!
[yes, you all would appreciate this last statement if you knew me, how much I love food, and how hungry I am all the time!!]

it is kind of funny because i spent so much time not getting too excited because it was so far away that the night before we got married i decided 'okay it is time to get excited' needless to say i did not sleep a wink, but that is when it hit me, the night before we got married.

Felicia, exactly when did the loss of appetite hit? I have been waiting anxiously for that one to happen!!!!

It started to hit me like about a month ago, after we moved into the house and started ordering the invitations and when every weekend you're doing something for the wedding. I think after the 6-month mark you start getting really anxious...
