When did the preggos stop driving?

Im a 'gotta get out' type person, so until yesterday I drove. We had a momsclub thing and we went... Today I wanted to run some last minute 'no baby in tow' errands.. and John REALLY doenst think I should be out there driving, on my own... (of course Id be within a mile or 2 of home)... I kinda agree but I just need that AHHHH fresh air feeling...
and Im sure I wont give birth within minutes of feeling a contraction

OK, I know he's right. Im going to stay home the whole next week (ugh, cabin fever!)
and just to take a walk, I'll have to lug out the stroller, so whats worse driving or lifting a stroller

I never stopped driving. I never really had to go far from home, except when I went to the doctor.

Maybe that was the wrong thing to do...

Even though I DO get tired within an hour of leaving home, I just LOVE getting out
and its sooo beautiful out this weekend...

Im sure we'll all go out later on or tomorrow to run errands, but its not the same, I love my alone time If we do all go out, Id rather go to a park for JA.

I never stopped driving. As long as you can fit behind the wheel and wear your setabelt, you are no less safe than being a passenger. If you start having painful contractions I know you are smart enough to pull over and call someone to come get you. What is the problem John has with you driving? Guess I am missing the point.

I never stopped driving either and also worked till the day I gave birth

I hope to be one of those people who can work adn drive right up until the baby decides to come! Get out today, it's going to be so spring like!!

I didnt stop driving either. I almost drove to the hospital. I was ok.

When my sister was in labor with #3, she drove herself to the hospital.

I never stopped driving and i had a nice long 40 minute commute to work everyday.

SEEE, thats why WE ALL GET ALONG SO WELL ! Youre all on my side!

Victoria, John is just an overlydramatic type of person over anything. If theres a little ice on the ground he would tell me/suggest to cancel plans for that day, preggo or not (whether I take his advice is another story )

And tomorrow Im going to get a mani-pedicure
and I sure cant walk there

I knew I asked the right bunch... Last time I think I was driving around even past my due date OK, I dont really want a Leap Year baby, so I SHOULD Take it easy this weekend

I stopped driving 16 days before I had Madeleine. I didn't want to drive in the snow, and plus I didn't feel comfortable sitting behind the wheel... big belly with a down coat just wasn't an ideal situation for driving.

I read somewhere that said that a preggo lady should not be too close to the air bag, so I feel the bigger you get the less likely you should be driving. Roger's friend did not let his wife drive after 6 mos and she had to drive in the back. Better safe than sorry

Omg-I would die if my DH wouldn't let me drive after 6 months-I can't stand being cooped in the house!

He drove her everywhere she wanted to go. I will take a personal chauffeur anyday

My husband is type that 'wont let me' pick up a piece of paper off the floor when Im preggo...
But he also knows im the type that will go do a trunk load of groceries and 3 loads of laundry when he's not home

I meant to stop 2 weeks before my due date. But Sophia was 2 weeks old by then!
