Re: when did you
I have just started and I am 8 weeks. It is more like all day nausea. The only thing that works for me is if I eat a little something every 2 to 3 hours, even if it is just a couple of crakers or a glass of juice. I was told to not let my blood sugar fall by waiting too long in between meals. A lot of little heathy snacks throughout the day may help.

Re: when did you
My morning sickness began at about 6 weeks and magically ended at the onset of the second trimester. I found that anything with ginger really helped me - tea, lollipops, ginger ale, ginger altoids. I ate A LOT of saltines for awhile too! How far long are you?

Never had it. Lucky me. Keep your eating to every two hours and keep saltines with you at all times. HTH.

Re: when did you
Mine started at about 7 or 8 weeks and ended at about 16 weeks. Mine was an all day nausea too. For some reason eating salty foods made me feel better - crackers, pretzels, french fries

Re: when did you
Started at 7 weeks I believe - I never puked, just nauseous ALL DAY LONG!! The only thing that helped me was lots of cold water, fruit, and Watermelon Jolly Ranchers -- I still find them everywhere!!

Re: when did you
exactly 6-12 weeks the first time and about 6-13.5 weeks this time. I tried to keep something starchy in my stomach at all times so I did not feel acidic. I also kept tums and saltines at my bedside. Very strong peppermint gum helped this time but I had an aversion to it w/ the 1st pg.

Mine wasnt that bad. It started at about 6 weeks and ended around 9. And it was NEVER in the morning. Late afternoon was my time. Keep eating those crackers and try some gingerale! feel better it will pass.

Re: when did you
Mine started around the 5 week mark and lasted up until the 6th month. Then stopped for a few weeks and now is back in my 8th month. I had constant all day nausea (throwing up to the point it was just blood). I was put on meds. but only took them when necessary. Nothing truly helped me- carbs seemed to subside things a bit and Pineapple quenched my thirst. The key is to rest and stay hydrated as hard as that maybe at times. Oh and peppermint gum helped at times along with Tums.
I've heard carbs really help the most- plain baked potate, breads. Saltines made me even sicker. I think it just depends and you'll have to try a few things until you feel comfortable. Good Luck I know it's not fun, so just think of your precious child in the end... It will all be over soon...
