everytime i ask travel agents, they keep telling me its too early (my wedding is 11 months away) so i was just wondering when you girls went and booked... i guess i am getting anxious!

We are going to start to attempt to book about 11 months prior, once the airlines release their flight information.

flights usually come out 330 days prior except for a few airlines that only come out a few months proir like jet blue. Cruises you can book pretty far in advacen almost 2 years. its the airline tickets that you have to watch for.

Most airlines only let you book 330 days in advance, which comes out to about 10 and a half months before the last day of travel. So she probably isn't able to book air yet! Some hotels follow a similar calendar because they don't want to commit to next year's prices so early.
Where are you planning to travel to? If it's a more simple all-inclusive or one-hotel trip, your travel agent may know best what time of year the deals come out. I know we're planning a pretty confusing trip that involves several stops, car rentals, air, and train travel between spots, and so my agent is going to be keeping an eye on companies and 'springing' when there is a sale.
I'm alleviating my anxieties by hitting up the travel books and concentrating on all the things we'll be seeing once we're there (northern France and England), and brushing up on my French!
