VEIL and headpiece im getting nervous thinking i should have it ohh and shoes too.....i still have time i guess but i dont want to leave anything for last minute and then be flipping out cuz i cant find what i like

You should probably get your shoes...because if the length of your dress needs to be altered, they will measure it with your shoes on. You have time for your veil, I am deciding that once my dress is finished. I am having it made, and I want to see what kind of look I want to go with my dress. But I do recommend you get shoes. I got mine at Varone's in Sayville...they are awesome. They have a great reputation and have been in business a long time.

you have time
i had mine made at tri county and I asked for it in a month.. but i think she does them faster than that
but it depends on when you want to do your hair trials and if you want your veil for that

i am going for a veil very soon, and also going for my headpiece very soon too. Shoes are the most difficult for me lol, hopefully ill find those by the time my dress comes in

i don't have either; i do technically have shoes only b/c my sister was at saks and saw a gorgeous pair of badgley mischkas on sale; she called me up and was like i'm buying them for you for your wedding. so i'm pretty sure i'm wearing them but it depends on if they are too high for my dress or not... we'll see. they are gorgeous though so she is awesome for not letting me have to deal with looking for shoes!

I think i'll go this month to get my veil and also place an order for my headpiece, i am getting them from separate places.

Regina B. She custom makes your headpiece. Jenlen used her and she brought in a pic of her dress and regina did the design similar to the design on her dress and it looked gorgeous. BOnnie also got earrings from her custom made and they are also gorgeous.
Even with it being custom made for you, the price was great and even better than some other places and i like hers better

I bought all of mine already, but I think I was just early in getting things done.. I still think you have plenty of time. And as long as you get your shoes before you start your fittings, and your head piece and veil so that you can get some trials in before your day you'll be fine!

i have my shoes already and i will probably take care of the veil within the next month. i'm having it made and she sent me a sample of the lace so i have to visit my dress and make sure the ivories match. i hope to have it for my first fitting, probably in early march.

OLA, I know how you feel, my wedding is in October and I have my tiara already. I got it at tri country, some booth near the back, for $30. I think I will go back there for my veil too, she had nice stuff. I may look for a comb too, just in case I do not like the way the tiara sits with my hair - I want to have a few options ... the tiara I got is very simple, just one band, almost like a headband but it sits just on top of your head.
Shoes, I am going to go to Craft shoes in commack this month, people told me they have a big selection. I have looked at love my shoes and some other places but I haven't liked anything I found. I may get some online and see if I like them ....

I actually bought mine the day I bought my dress. i tried them on together and loved the way they looked together. But I am sure it isnt that much of a rush to get them.
