When did you get called to do your menu?

I'm 28 days away and still have not heard a peep from my hall.

WHAT?! Not if she's going to give me all that stuff we have to do and get back to her with. What about seating charts, place cards all that other stuff?

I just picked the readings last night from our pre cana book. We need to go after Mass to discuss the music with the organist.

I called and left a message for Maureen, she was in a meeting I think. I spoke to the receptionist and she mentioned they do the menu choosing two weeks prior to the event. I explained that it wasn't so much the menu that i was concerned about, that it was all the other things, like the place cards and seating arrangements, that i wasn't sure about.

Hopefully Maureen can call me back today and let me know what I need to do and when it needs to be done. I just have so much stuff going on right now, other than the wedding, and trying to fit in all this stuff is making me bonkers.

I was called almost two months before the wedding but I was having dental work done and didn't want to do it with sore gums!

We're going in next weekend, a bit less than a month before the wedding. We'll wind up picking the menu and cake then. The final count is due 10 days prior.
