cell phone?

I got mine for Christmas 1996 (and I was 19 years old) I think I was an early bloomer!

hmmm it was as soon as I started driving - either the summer of 1999 or 2000.

eta: It was a Motorola StarTac too! Lol

September 2001-also a Motorola Star Tac ( it was the phone of the week or whatever)

Dh just got his last year after my apt was broken into & I had trouble getting in touch with him.

August 2000, at the beginning of my senior year of college, b/c I finally had a car to drive up there. It was one of those prepaid cards, and it was only for emergencies.

I remember watching people use their cell phones constantly and thinking it was ridiculous, and now it's all I use!

I think it was around 2000. I just finally got rid of my originally phone/plan for a new one last January.

September 1999 when I started driving. But i had like 30 minutes a month - so i rarely used it, it was only for emergencies. And it was a huge nokia, i felt like zack morris.

1991 when I worked for NYNEX Mobile where we installed CAR phones .... and sold the Motorola flip phone for $3500.

My first 'real' job gave me a cell phone in a friggin briefcase. It was in 1991 - right after high school.

I think it was 98. But my parents had one before that and when mine was stolen once I had to use their old one until I got a new one and it was HU-UGE!!! My brother used to say Where's the slot for the quarters in that thing?
