Hi girlies, when did you do your registries? My FHs family keeps telling us to do it before the holidays because I think they want to get us presents from there for Christmas which is fine, but I think its to early still for a July 3 wedding. What do you think?
we registered for our e-party and will prob have to do it again closer to the shower. people have used our registry for xmas/birthdays, and it was a great way to test out the dept stores.
we registered in january , only because we were having a big eparty in the begining of march otherwise i would have liked to wait until january/february 09 to register
I registered in the beginning of june a few weeks before my birthday because i told my FMIL and my step-mother that if they were going to get me something to buy me something off my registry ... and i figured that they could do the same for christmas too!
We registered in April/May sometime - we weren't doing anything so we just decided to go. Everyone was busting on us to register because they wanted to get us engagement gifts.... I think its a good idea to do it before the holidays. Then people know what to get you :)
I started my registry last weekend. I don't think it is too early for you to register... Just make sure you double check the items periodically so you will know if they get discountinued. That wont really happen with appliances and stuff but I will be fanatically checking my bedding because I really want it and am praying it is still available next year!
i just registered online for staple things and everytime i go to a store and see somethng else i add it
