When did you know Mr. Right was Mr. Right?

After dating for only 6 months, Anthony and I decided to buy a house together. My 24 year-old brother has Down syndrome and is my favorite person in the world. My parents have talked about moving out of state, and we've sometimes wondered what would happen to my brother if they moved. So while we were looking at houses, Anthony told me we should make sure that whatever house we chose had an extra bedroom in case my brother ever wanted to live with us. THAT's when I knew he was Mr. Right. What about the rest of you?

Picture it.....

It was about 10:30 at night

i was on the phone with him walking around in front of the house (summertime)

i was in a really fat mood

i told him i felt like i was 1000 pounds overweight

he says to me - actually yells at me...

I WOULD LOVE YOU IF YOU WERE 10,000 POUNDS....

that's when I knew.... It takes a lot to love a person, but to love unconditionally........

I knew he was the one on our first date. We met at a bar on Superbowl Sunday and talked all night. He called me the next day and we made plans to go out on our first date. Well, we hit it off, he was exactly what I was looking for in a man, we will be getting married in 295 days. I feel like the luckiest woman in the world!!!!

I knew when I saw the picture of us taken at my brothers wedding when we were only dating for a mere 2 months...we've been together now for over 7 years

I met him in High School we were 15. I saw him from across the courtyard, and I knew that I had to meet him. Well we are 26 now and after a few breakups over the years we have now been together for about 7 years. He tells me that I'm beautiful even when my hair looks like s*** and I have no makeup on.

We were sitting on his bed just talking when it hit me I am going to marry this man, and he broke up with me 2 weeks later Only to come back 3 months later saying he was the biggest jerk and couldn't live without me!!!

When i was able to completley be myself even the looney side There is nothing he doesnt know

when I peed his bed and he acted like it was an every day occurence and just got up took the sheets off and made me feel so comfortable. Please don't ask me how or why I peed the bed but it happened. I just asked him if he remember and he said no I said I guess when the relationship is new everything is ok. I asked him, if now that we are married, if I peed the bed what would you do? he said he would put me in the living room

LOL! Shamma, that is the best 'moment' I've ever heard for knowing your guy was the right guy! You're hilarious, and I love that you were that honest with us.

I knew the moment I met Chris that I had a future with him, but I wasn;t sure for how long. I should probably point out that I was very drunk when I met him.

After our first date I knew we had a special relationship and that I wanted to spend a lot of time with him. After our second date we had our first kiss and the next morning when I went out to my car there was a rose in the door. I knew then that he was the one for me.

When he took me to Coney Island to ride the bumper cars on the ride there this big TOUGH guy was pouring his heart out to me

WHy is Stacey laughing at me tho' He never made me feel uncomfortable so sharing it with you ladies does not make me uncomfortable in the least.

I actually know a guy who peed 3 times while his lady friend was in bed with him!!! I was laughing with you Now go on the parenting board and tell me what you think of the crib set I picked

Off to check out crib set. My peeing incident only happened once. It was all b/c of a dream too

We were dating 3 months at the time and I asked him to be my date for my sorority formal. I was still a new member and this was my first formal with the girls.

I was so nervous because everyone told me how great it is, its like a prom, etc...

Before we walked in Brian said to me 'please dont leave me I dont know anyone and I am a little nervous about being here' I smiled and said no problem

I walked in and got bombarded by my sisters to take pictures and meet everyone's date. Brian was just standing there clueless. One of the sisters Debbie her boyfriend at the time Bart (they are now married and are both in our BP) went up to Brian and introduced himself and then told him welcome to the club, this is my 5th affair with the sorority and you wont see her all night. come on lets get a drink. He and Bart became instant friends.

During the night a slow song came on and we were sitting at the table. It was one of my favorite songs and Brian leans over to me and asks me to have the dance with him.

At the end of the night when he dropped me off he said to me 'ya know I hate to dance. I feel like a fool dancing, but you had that look in your eyes and I knew without you asking you wanted to dance'

Thats when I knew he was the one. He knew what I was thinking and knew what I felt without me having to say a word.

We were dating six months and he took me to his family's vacation house in Connecticut. I met the whole family(very nervous), we went to a drive-in movie and when we got back to the house, it was the most perfect nite... stars, fireflies, the lake. We were sitting on the dock behind the house whispering, and suddenly it just hit me...BAM!!!
I was crazy about him

I sort of knew right away. But, the one thing that triggered it is that one day driving to my sisters we were talking about my Mother. (I met him in July & she passed in August (but, we didn't go on our first date until Dec) And he said 'I talked to your Mam' & I said what??? He said 'The very first time I called your house she answered!' (mind you he didn't call me again until Dec) Just the fact that he remembered that made me know!!
