After dating for only 6 months, Anthony and I decided to buy a house together. My 24 year-old brother has Down syndrome and is my favorite person in the world. My parents have talked about moving out of state, and we've sometimes wondered what would happen to my brother if they moved. So while we were looking at houses, Anthony told me we should make sure that whatever house we chose had an extra bedroom in case my brother ever wanted to live with us. THAT's when I knew he was Mr. Right. What about the rest of you?

I also knew just about right away. I was getting pretty fed up with people telling me that I was too picky, and that why don't I go out with so-and-so, he's such a nice guy, or I have the 'perfect' guy for you..... My response to them was always this, 'LOOK, I'm NOT being too picky, I just haven't met the right guy. When I meet the right guy, I'll know right away!'
So that's pretty much what happened with Clay. After dating for about 2 weeks (that's like 3 or 4 dates), he sent me this sweet e-mail at work. It was an open, honest, e-mail that made me cry. I just couldn't believe a guy was saying these things to me after only 2 weeks. It was then that I knew that he was The One......

On our first date I had a sense that he was 'special' and different than the rest of the guys I had dated/was dating. I just had this sense that he ws going to be a part of my life in some capacity.
Three months later I broke up with him, thinking he didn't feel the same way about as I felt about him. He said fine, whatever, all hurt. An hour later he called me back and said 'Can we talk about this?' We met for dinner a day later and he told me he wanted to go forward with 'us' 100%. And that's when I knew.

The night I gave him my phone number he said to me 'why worry about the past when the man of your dreams could be standing right in front of you.' He did everything right on our first dates as well as giving me the perfect pick up line...I guess thats how I just knew!

Our first kiss was the kind where I got chills down my back, and it made me realize how special he was. We were at our senior banquet and while on the dance floor he whispered in my ear that 'two years from now we're going to get engaged and two years from then I'm gonna marry you.' I just looked back at him and said 'yeah right, I know you for two months!' A few months later, while in college I realized I didn't want to spend my life without him. And he proposed, four years later then he first said he would, on the day we had our first kiss, his birthday, he told me that it was the best birthday gift he ever got.

After we met and hit it off, he told me that he was from Saint Louis and I thought I would never see him again. He invited me to come down and visit him but I thought he was just being nice. That night after we left Syracuse he called me from the road and said he couldn't wait 'three days' to call like every other guy. I knew he was serious and I booked my flight. After talking every day for almost two months and when I walked off the plane and he was standing there with flowers, I knew he was the ONE!

We met at a party and I was at the bar ordering a drink. He came up next to me and even before he said hello....my heart started pounding like crazy as if a bolt of lighting hit me and my inner voice told me.....this is going to be your husband.

I think my best memory of when I really knew for sure was when I broke one foot & severely sprained the other one walking down Broadway. After taking a cab to my apartment & crawling up three flights of stairs (it was a walk-up apartment, don't ask me why I didn't go directly to the ER) he rushed out from his job in New Jersey to take me to the ER and stood by me the whole time.

We were standing on a street corner holding hands and facing each other on a random Friday night date, and I was sitting on a $100,000 job offer that would require me to move to Chicago. We had only been dating a short time, so I was contemplating leaving. In an effort to persuade me to stay, he started tearing and said to me, stammering, 'It's just that I.... It's just that I think about you differently than I've ever thought about any woman I've dated.' And I said, how's that? And he said, well muttered, under his breath so no one but me should hear, 'It's just that I think about you as the mother of my children.' And I was blown away that a 27 year old could say something like that! He said to me- 'Don't leave Marisa. I would LOVE to see what this relationship will look like a year from now!' And I was curious, so I stayed here in NY to see it.... And IT IS FABULOUS!!!!

When we were dating for about 4 months, it was mothers day..and he slept over my house. He woke me up by whispering in my ear that he cant wait till he can celebrate this day with me cause I was gonna be the best mother in the world...he knows how im portant having children is to me and to know that it was as important to him and to know that he thought at only 4 months about having them with me...I knew this was it!

I met Ron while he was on a date with another girl..
I saw him from across the CLUB..... I said to my cousin.. See that GUY I am marrying him. She laughed.. He came over and we talked.. I knew it. He gave me goose bumps all over my body..
He took my #.. That night I came home and told my mother I met the man I am going to marry. She was like Theresa.. What is his last name. I said.. NO idea.I just know... HE IS IT!!
We moved in together 6mts later and now I am off to living out my dream!!

Karen I had a dream I was at a fair and someone was watching me so that no one was coming b/c I was peeing behind a tree, girl I let it break loose and that is how it happened
