When did you pick up your dress?

07 Ladies- how long before your wedding did you actually pick up your dress from the seamstress, after the alterations were done? I'm thinking maybe 4 - 5 days before? Does that sound about right?

Definitely pick it up two days before!
I picked mine up the day before and was running so many errands it was insane.. plus, they had to resteam parts of it because it was so wrinkled I was almost in tears because I was about to miss my nail appointment!!

Picked up 2 days before.........Got married friday, picked it up on wednesday.

I told them my wedding was a week before the actual date, just in case something went wrong I would have extra leway.
So, my dress was hanging in my living room for 9 days.
