When did your FH ask the groomsmen?

we're at the 9 month mark and FH still hasnt asked groomsmen to be a part of the wedding. he keeps saying 'they probably already know.' I think he should at least be like 'hey buddy, you're in the wedding,' but no....

did it take your FH a long time too??

We are getting married in Nov and FH hasn't asked anyone yet either! I just don't get it!

No, he had the opposite problem. He'd get drunk and asked EVERYONE to be a GM. We agreed originally on 5 apiece. He now has NINE!

One GM came up to me at a BBQ and said 'Hey, FH just asked me to be a GM!' I had to quickly hide my shock, give him a big old hug and said 'I know!! He's been wanting to ask you!!'

omfgggggggggggggggg! thats HYSTERICAL!

thats like when people assume their invited to the wedding when you've bumped into them for the first time in 10 years... but chat once a year on facebook.

that was STRANGE!

We've gotten plenty of those. In fact my MOH's parents did it! We sent the STD to her parent's house since she was still living there at the time. Clearly made out to MOH only. I got an e-mail the next day saying we can't wait to attend your wedding! But they're so nice, I couldn't say no.

He waited awhile. For the most part 3 of them pretty much knew they'd b in the BP so I don't think he ever really asked them one he asked abt 6months before and the last one he asked just last month! :)

Um.. FH just asked his bestman two weeks ago... and our wedding is in six months! lol.

he asked most of them at the engagement party, and some he asked right after we got engaged - nothing formal.

My FH asked his groomsmen a month after we got engaged at our Bridal Party party. Yes, we had a party for our wedding party to ask all 20 of them to be in it.

My FH has been in 9 weddings and he was so pissed when the grooms didn't officially ask the guys. He said when we get engaged, everyone will know right away.

I made my FH sit down and call everyone just the other day. Our brothers already knew but he had a few friends he hadn't actually asked yet. Our wedding is 4 months away!

We are getting married in uly and my FH still didn't ask all of his groomsmen yet.....I think he just assumes they already know....must be a guy thing....
