How much time should pass between my first and second fitting? Also- how much before the wedding should the final fitting be?

They told me to do the first one 6 weeks before...after that i have no clue

6-8 weeks prior to your wedding date. I am so anxious because my dress is already in and I wanted to try it on already.

mine will be in next week!! I definitely want to try it on even if it's not an actual fitting.......... I wonder if that's allowed!

I was told 4-6 weeks before for first fitting and 1-2 weeks before wedding day for final fitting. I guess it all depends upon your schedule and how busy your bridal shop is. HTH

I asked that too and was told that I can go try my gown on at any time. I only need to schedule the fitting so the seamstress will be available.

My fittings were about 4 weeks apart with the final fitting about a week before the wedding.

when my dress came in i went to try it on to make sure it fit. for 1st fitting going about 6 wks before. but i know when i'm stressed i will drop weight like crazy. so i'm hoping my last fitting will be the week before

it depends. I mean, for most of you girls on here it will be prolly 1 - 2 months before hand....for me, im having my 1st fitting in april and then my final 10 days before my wedding....its no fun being in FL!

I was allowed to try my dress on when it came in....and that was in November! You should be able to try it on...

My first fitting is scheduled for next week. I know its really early to be doing it but Im soooooo anxious and excited to try everything on. Then depending on how much alterations I need will I guess depend on how many more fittings I'll have. Then my final one will be probably like a week before.

i brought mine to the bridal store recently and they sai all i need is a bustle done. so i don't have to go back until the begining of june. so it will be a few weeks before my wedding.
