When do I

Send out my invites!!! My date is Oct 3rd 2008

I did not send out Save the Date cards.

I know I should know this but wanted to get everyone's opinions.

My wedding is Oct. 11th and I'm mailing mine August 1st with an RSVP date of August 23rd so they have 3 weeks to respond. I also sent out STD's in January.

I guess it all depends, if you have a lot of OOT guests, I would suggest early July, if not, then mid-late July with an RSVP date of Aug 31st.

I didn't send out std's either.... I have my rsvp date one month before the wedding and am trying to give them 5-6 week to respond. So, like 2 1/2 months before the wedding.

imo i think your rsvp deadline is a little early.

i was told to send them out 11-12 weeks before the wedding, give 6-8 weeks to respond, and leave 4 weeks before the wedding to track down stray RSVPs. so we sent our invites out on march 8, revp deadline of april 25, wedding on may 25.
