book the hotel block of rooms? Dont' want to do it too early.

What's the process like? For whatever reason, i'm stressing over this part! do hotels usually offer shuttle service or do you have to arrange that yourself.

our hotel said they don't take room block reservations until 54 weeks before the date and that is exactly when we set up the room block. We wanted to lock in the best rate we could for our guests. It didn't cost us anything to set it up and we are not responsible for any rooms under the block that do not get booked. We also received free shuttle service with 10 rooms booked and either a free guest room or $100 off the honeymoon suite with 15 rooms booked (we took the bridal suite )

ok great! thanks for the info! it's nice to know you didn't have to pay anything to set it up and that you wouldn't lose anything if they weren't booked! I wonder if that's common but either way, I hope to have the same experience
