We had ours right after our first dance-it was actually me dancing with DH's dad and he danced with his mom to their first dance song 'More' by Andy Williams- then we had a mother/DH and me/cousin (since my parents are deceased) dance right before the cake cutting.
We did our first dance just as a couple without inviting anyone else on the dance floor until we finished both dances.

I told the DJ I wanted to do the parent dances right after my dance with FH....I don't want him to have a few too many...he said he would work it out!

So you just went immediately into the parent dances, no joining on the dance floor right? I think that's what I want to do....
