i would think that each photographer would have different payments set up? idk but mine i have to pay the remainder when i get my album i think

I have to pay my final balance (percentage...I think like 20%?) upon receipt of proofs... Although, most of it is due the day of the wedding.

agreed... either way you should never pay off the full amount until you receive your prints/albums/etc because what if, god forbid, you pay them off and then they just decide to take their sweet time getting the prints back to you or worse, not getting them to you at all!

the final 1/3 is due when we pick up the proofs... about 2-3 weeks after the wedding

I have to pay my balance the night of the wedding.! I think every photographer would be different though.

I pay a balance of $500 when I approve the layout of my album (which is after the proofs arrive)

i think this is the same for me, but i don't have a copy of my contract on this computer
