order menus? when you have the final guest count? i feel like that doesnt leave the vendor enough time? any idea???

you could order them ahead of time if you wanted to, you would just have to order more than needed-like order the number of people invited or something like that
I'm not doing menu's-just using the one's provided by the RH

From what I remember, it can be as late as 3 weeks before. If anything, you can probably order an extra couple just in case.

my rh does offer them, i just want prettier ones! lolol just shopping around at the moment, but i was just curious when to order, because if i order now ill prob have some left over which is fine, but i didnt know if i should wait till the final count ya know

At my RH, they set up an appointment about 3-4 months b4 the wedding date to finalize the menu. Then the final head count is due 2-3weeks before.

I think most venues get your final numbers a week or so before the wedding. They do this because they know how things change and they want to avoid constant phonecalls from the bride.
That does leave an issue with the menues.
I would confirm with the RH that all items will be available, then you can have the menu's made whenever you would like to.

Ask if they can customize it... If you want I'm meeting with Kelly tomorrow at Russo's and I can ask for you. IMO, don't waste your money on menu cards if they provide them!

if you could ask her for me that'd be awesome! I might get them thrown in from my invitation vendor if i order my table numbers with her and add one more thing that im thinking about for the invites, so in that case i think its worth it since theyre free (or rather ive spent so much with her that she feels bad for me lolol)

i would wait to finalize your menu before you order. i wouldnt worry so much about a few leftover...but you dont want to print stuff with a dish they wont be serving...
