WOW FH and i were best friends for a year and a half so i picked other because we were high school sweet hearts and at that time we always hung out but it would be the day he came up to me in the most romantic way and asked me to go out with him. That is the date we count. August 3, 2000

BEFORE WE GOT ENGAGED WE MADE OUR ANNIVERSARY DATE THE FIRST DATE. NOW WE MADE THE DAY THAT WE GOT ENGAGED.
ALTHOUGH WE DO STILL CELEBRATE BOTH....HEHE

I know its very High School but ours is the day we officially became an item...June 19 That was a week after our first date Iwas so happy I guess we kind of celebrate the date we got engaged too.

SO when we get married I guess we will celebrate the day we start going out and then our wedding anniversary too

We just started hanging out and never looked back, so we never really knew what our anniversary should be. We did finally pick a date when we both seemed to remeber we kissed for the first time, and we used to celebrate that date. Ever since we've been engaged, we celebrate the date of our engagement.

We both remember the date of the 'woo hoo' (I love that, by the way ) - and we celebrated it the first year, but after a few years, it's kind of fallen off our radar (but we'll always remember the date ).

All that said, I voted first kiss.

Our anniversary os June 19th also!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But it was our first kiss...a few weeks alter we decided to be boyfriend and girlfriend..it was all VERY HS.

We celebrate our first date...it was on Valentines day so I wanted the wedding as close to the 14th as was reasonable. We were best friends but our first date was when we confessed that we had crushes on each other...we didnt officially become a couple or kiss until June but our first date was so wow!

Our anniversary is the day we first kissed. We knew each other for over a year before we started dating and began to hang out often. We went out for drinks as friends on 10/17/02. I ended up drinking too much and we kissed that night. We spent the next 2 weeks talking and analyzing (actually, I did all of the analyses!) our relationship. We decided on Halloween that we were an item but realized that we both considered ourselves together from the 1st kiss.

For our first date we saw Star Wars Episode One at the Virgin theatre in Union Sq. That was may 31, 1999

But we celebrate our first kiss, June 19, 1999. We were at a friend's party in Brooklyn. We had been play swing dancing to barry white of all things, and collapsed on the couch together...then everyone went in the kitchen for pizza and we hung back, and I said something like 'i really want to topanga you' and then he kissed me..two little pecks on the lips..then later on we were just making out all night.

oh and PS..it was his first kiss!
ETA: We had that 2 week analyssi stage too..on June 28 (last day of junior year) we decided to be bf/gf. We decided it in the Borders at the world trade center..we were reading a calvin and hobbes book, and I was holding it, and he gave me a kiss every time he wanted me to turn the page!

BTW I love the term 'woo hoo.' it's actually the phrase they use in the game the sims 2. I'ma nerd. but I think it's such a funny and cute euphemism!

Since we got engaged on New Year's Day, we've celebrated the first of every month and I think we'll use that date as a special anniversary date in the future.
