I've started to feel some movement over the last 2 weeks-what an amazing feeling. I feel bad for DH, every time I feel the baby move he runs over to try and feel it but it's still too soon. When do I feel the baby kick and when will DH feel the baby?

I felt it for the first time this week - it felt like a big pop, and I happened to have my hand on my stomach so I totally felt it. A few hours later it started up again, so DH put his hand there and felt it too! I am 21 weeks. At my ultrasound last week, the tech. said that I should not be feeling kicks yet, so I was not sure...but at my dr. appt. yesterday the OB said definately! It was so cool.

Your u/s tech is wrong-I started feeling light kicks around 16 weeks and my doc said it was true-especially if you are on the thin side you may feel them sooner. Now, at 25 weeks they are much stronger and you can actually see the baby moving across my belly like a wave---pretty weird.

The U/S tech is definitely wrong - 21 weeksyou wouldnt feel it???? Even the baby books say generally 16-20 weeks - some women, especially BTDT Moms who know what they are expecting to feel, will start to feel little flutters or pings and pangs sooner.

You should!!! You might have felt it already and just not realized it....for the longest time I thought the baby moving was just gas!

I agree the Tech was wrong! I am 21 weeks and started feeling the kicks around 17 weeks. And DH just felt a big one this past Thursday night. He was so excited. So you should be feeling them anytime now! Congratulations its the best feeling in the world!

I'm just at 21 weeks as well and our little guy has been very active over the past two weeks. It is so cool feeling him move around. DH has felt kicks a couple of times. I'm sure as he gets bigger, DH will be able to feel the movement a lot better.

My dh can feel them and I am 21 and a half... I feel the bean jumping a Lot it is the best feelihng.....

Looks like I posted a little too early. I started feeling kicks Sunday night and DH has been able to feel movement too.
I had been feeling the 'flutters' for about 2 weeks but I was anxious to feel a kick. Sunday at midnight I woke up and felt it. It was a great feeling but the baby had me up for close to an hour moving all around and kicking me all over. Why couldn't it do this in the afternoon?
