When do you give a groom cake?

I never heard of this before. Do you do it at the reception? Rehearsal dinner?

There are 2 ways to do a grooms cake

Some will do it at the Rehearsal dinner, others will have it as a separate cake at the reception.

i'm doing at the RD, i'm currently looking for a bakery because FH wont let me drive to baltimore and spend a few grand on a charm city cake, lol

i'll be doing this for the RD but only because there's gonna be too many sweets at the reception. I'm trying to spread the calories out..lol

I will also be doing it at the RD...that way it is something special for him and just him

im most likely doing this at the wedding in addition to the wedding cake , lol

none that i've heard of, they usually just include the regular wedding cake

grooms cake is totally seperate from the wedding cake
