i am going 2 months before.. when I called I asked to make it sooner, but they said normally 2 months before is more than enough time

I am going in Arpil, getting married the first week of June!!

I just went over the weekend and my wedding isn't until May 6th. But, my dress is at a shop outside of Philadelphia, near where my parents live. So, I have to go early to make sure I have enough time. Also, I want the dress in my possession a good three weeks before the wedding, just to make sure I have it (I'm a little paranoid)

First fitting is Sept 26 and I am getting married November 17

I believe its 2 or 3 months before.

March 9...getting married April 22...wish it was sooner...

i just bought my dress this weekend for my Sept. 23 wedding. They told me my first fitting should be in early July.
