Jayla, i would say anywhere from 6 months and on is good for the BM dreses, thats when i plan on getting mine

BM dresses normally only take around 12 weeks to come in. So ordering around the 6 month mark is plenty of time to get them in and have a couple of weeks for alterations and also allow a couple of weeks for any mishaps (if there are any).![]()

lol calm down girls.. DB said they'll be in in November.. 3 months before the wedding lol.. but i expect them even sooner. we're not ordering dresses from china or anything.. lol sorry to crash.. love ya riss!

I started looking for wedding dresses almost exactly at the 1 year mark since I'm usually out of state. i didnt intend to start looking at bridesmaid dresses yet but my MOH and one bridesmaid were dress hunting with me and tried on a few dresses for fun. They fell in love with a bridesmaid dress!
We ended up ording a yard of fabric to make sure I liked the color, since the swatch was 1' x 1' and a shimmery fabric (tissue taffeta). Once we decided we all loved the dress and color they started ordering it (getting measured and putting down a deposit). My last bridesmaid went last Thurs, and I think the order went out this week.
I guess we did 10 months in advance? I think that is more than enough time.... we were planning on waiting longer!

I think it depends on the place. I was in two BPs recently and we went to David's... they were in within two months. I wouldn't wait that long though. My MOH (older sister) is trying to get pregnant so I'm going to wait probably until a year before.... I told her if she's not pregnant by then she can't be until after the wedding!
