When do you plan on making your 'rounds' at the reception?

Original post by BriBri529

I am just curious as to when everyone plans on doing this. Is it better to get it done cloder to the beginning? As dinner is finishing up? I know this may seem like a stupid question, but I just want to make sure I do it at the most appropriate time possible . . . TIA

We plan on greeting everyone as they walk in to the CH from the ceremony. I would love to go around to all the table but I also want to enjoy the wedding so...I thought this would solve the problem.

200 guests + 2 mins saying hello to each guest = 6.6 HOURS!

You should think of it more as 2 mins a table. Just don't get trapped by a real talker...
